About Barepolish

Welcome to Barepolish, where nail care meets comfort, creativity, and connection.

Founded in 2025, Barepolish was created with a simple but powerful vision—to build a space where everyone feels welcome, relaxed, and free to be themselves. After countless salon visits that felt rushed or impersonal, our founder set out to redefine the nail salon experience. The result is a modern, uplifting environment that feels more like an escape than an errand.

At Barepolish, we believe it’s not just about nails—it’s about the joy that comes with feeling good, being seen, and sharing a smile. Whether you're here for a quick refresh or to treat yourself to something special, we’re here to make sure you leave a little lighter, brighter, and more confident than when you came in.

We may be starting small, but our heart is big—and we’re excited to grow, meet new people, and continue spreading happiness, one set of nails at a time.

Our  Story

Meet Niko

Born and half-raised in Michigan, I’ve always had a love for art and creativity — and that passion naturally found its way into nails. With over 9 years of experience and a professional license, my journey has taken me through various salons and cities, each one teaching me more about the kind of space I truly wanted to create.

After years of searching for the right fit, I finally opened my own studio-based nail salon — a small, peaceful space designed with intention. Clean, minimal, cozy, and personalized, my studio is a reflection of what I’ve always believed my clients deserve: a calm escape from everyday stress, where self-care is more than just a service.

To me, nails are like jewelry — full of color, sparkle, and personality. But what truly makes this work meaningful is the connection I share with each person who walks through my door. It's more than just nails — it's about feeling good, being seen, and leaving with a smile.

This space was created with heart, and I’m so glad you’re here.
